LYRICS:
“You’ve got your gay marriage, what else do you want?”
Well for starters, let’s get these bodies off of the floor
Of a nightclub in a city that I’ve never been
But it might as well have been the one down the street
What made you think our lives are worth less?
Or maybe you just wanna see us all dead?
I’m safe in bathrooms, but what of my family?
All we’ve asked for is to be valued equally
Blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb
But so much blood has been spilled it’s flooded the tombs
(I’m twenty years old and I’m scared to live through tomorrow)
